FACULTY OF SCIENCE | TMU
2018 - 2026
Over the years, I contributed significantly to the growth of the Faculty of Science’s brand and digital presence, from navigating the university’s name change to commemorating the faculty’s 10th anniversary.
The marketing and communications team for the Faculty of Science was small but mighty – and I wore many hats to ensure its success. My responsibilities included social media management, web content management and design, graphic design, writing, as well as photography, videography and podcast production.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Audience (2025): Instagram 2.5k | Twitter 1.4k | LinkedIn 2.5k
I elevated the Faculty of Science’s social media presence by curating a vibrant visual identity and developing consistent posts with an emphasis on highlighting the diverse faces and stories within the faculty. My role involved strategy, production, copywriting, community engagement and analytics.
Since joining the team, I contributed to a net audience growth of 4.5k followers, with 175% more posts, a 336% increase in engagements, and a 405% increase in impressions across Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook channels compared to the previous five years.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY
I provided professional photography for the faculty, capturing portraits and events. Additionally, I directed and produced videos for the Faculty of Science social media, telling the stories of trailblazing students and faculty. Notable video series I've produced include the Dean’s message and an interview with Anthony Morgan (co-host of the Nature of Things).
WEB CONTENT MANAGEMENT AND DESIGN
Using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) I maintained the Faculty of Science website, its four department websites (Chemistry & Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science), and provided web support for faculty and research group websites. I also designed the annual Year in Review websites from 2022-2025.
My web support involved making content edits, uploading web articles, designing and optimizing pages, and ensuring the web pages adhere to Level AA AODA accessibility, are optimized for SEO, and offer a seamless user experience.
WRITING
I developed interview-based articles, yearly recaps, and provided copy-editing support for written pieces in the faculty. Below are some samples of my writing:
